There are many reasons to study general English 1:1

If your English is too low for our group classes (minimum level 4.0 for IELTS)
You want the benefits and effectiveness of a 1:1 class
You have different goals such as becoming more fluent
You want to focus on one thing specifically, such as writing or speaking

Students on our 1:1 courses see the most improvement as the teacher has only one student to focus on and can tailor the class to that student’s strengths and weaknesses. All classroom practice is focused on the student and all teacher feedback is directed at that student which increases the rate of improvement. These courses are available both in-person and online.

General English

The two best features of 1:1 general English classes is how quickly you improve and the high flexibility of the course. You can adapt the course to fit your needs:

Study only on weekdays or weekends
Focus on any topic within English
Study 1.5 to 40 hours every week
Study for as little as one week, or as long as a year

Some topics available include writing, speaking, listening, reading, general English (all four skills), communication, presentations, email writing, and more.

All of our teachers are native English speakers with a university degree and many years of teaching experience. Our school’s focus is to only provide the best quality courses so our students don’t waste their time. We understand you only want to spend as little time as possible in the classroom, and our courses are designed to get you to your goals as soon as possible.

I need to improve on the IELTS, but my English is too low for your classes (below a 4.0), what do you suggest?

We will provide a free placement test (unless you have already taken the IELTS and know your score) and then give a more accurate recommendation based on that. If you are below a 4.0, we normally recommend taking 1:1 classes to reach that 4.0 level, then switch to group classes.
